Extended service life in waste incineration

Incineration is the thermal processing of waste, and is usually undertaken at waste incineration plants. Today incineration is preferred to landfill, since untreated waste does not generaly meet the legislative requirements for landfill.

Waste incineration is a 5-stage process comprising:

System areas

  • Delivery
  • Waste transport
  • Crushing
  • Incineration
  • Slag

Applications

  • Hopper lining
  • Grippers
  • Crushers
  • Firebars
  • Transport routes

At all these stages, machinery and equipment undergoes significant wear.

We make a thorough analysis of your wear problem, prepare a verified diagnosis and develop proposals for improving the parts which are subject to wear. We then work with you to select the VAUTID material which will best ensure these parts have an extended service life, from significantly increased resistance to wear, corrosion or heat. Everything is focussed on reducing your wear costs.
