Product examples for increasing service life
Example 1:
5-times service life for concrete mixing.
Outer blades for pan mixers are subject to violent wear. Customers in the Hamburg region report more than 3000 cubic metres operating time. One customer in Singapore only achieved 700 cubic metres. Using our unique new development of such a blade with cast-in hard metal spikes, the service life is now five times as long. This demonstrates our expertise in wear resistance technology.
Example 2:
10-times service life for sinter sieving in a smelting works. Such sieves are in use 24 hours per day. They are moved at five times the force of gravity. The hard sinter acts like emery. Service life stood at unsatisfactory 4 - 8 weeks until VAUTID experts applied the low-high level theory discovered by our founder. The result was 10 to 20 times the service life. Customers in Germany, in Europe, in the Far East, e.g. in Taiwan and Korea, and also in South Africa rave about the VAUTID experts.
Example 3:
4-times service life for house plastering.
Every building is plastered on the inside and outside. High performance pumps are used for this which need mechanically machined, cost-effective rotors. These were previously turned from low alloy rolled steel. VAUTID developed a process with which such rotors can be manufactured from cast materials containing chromium carbide.
The secret is our heat treatment process. We make 30 HRC out of 55 HRC and then 63 HRC from that. Simply amazing. VAUTID experts are in their element.
