Our oldest product, the legendary VAUTID 100 N, was replaced about 20 years ago by the various electrodes of the VAUTID 100 series. These electrodes have set standards for wear protection all over the world. Hand-held electrodes from VAUTID are available in diameters of 3.25 – 8.00 mm.

Our product range includes cored wires from 1.2 – 4.0 mm diameter which are used slag-free or slag-forming for hard deposition welding.

VAUTID composite wear plates (VVP) are produced in layer combinations of 5 + 3 mm to 20 + 17 mm and external dimensions from 1.50 x 0.90 to 3.00 x 5.00 m, on one of the largest hard deposition welding production lines in the world.

In the course of the coating service, tyres for crushing coal and cement with cast iron weights between 500 and 3000 kg depending on their use are regenerated by hardfacing and thus achieve two to three times the service life of conventional chilled iron tyres.
