VAUTID uses both primary and secondary materials in its foundries. Input materials are re-cycled. For example, furan is passed through a sand reclamation plant, and returned to the production process.
Casting risers, worn cast parts and foundry rejects are melted down and used in the production of new components. Hence VAUTID uses primary raw materials economically, without compromising product quality.
VAUTID products are used successfully throughout the recycling industry. In glass recycling, in scrap-metal processing, in waste recycling plants - in fact, in hostile environments everywhere - our products are working to extend equipment lifetimes, and help VAUTID play its part in the conservation of raw materials.
